sorry BA, white palace is a movie played by susan sarandon and james spader, the graduate is dustin hoffman's movie ( where the song mrs robinson from simon and garfunkel was popularized)
about older lady with young guy love relationship.

I would go to the local pangkas rambut and pay the custom fee of 8000rp or approx plus a couple of thousand for a tip. Most of these chains are absolute rubbish and you pay over the odds. not like in uk or usa. the male hairdresser will also complete your shave and give you head and shoulders massage for the same price inclusive.

then go for your cream bath at the Salon (average price out of Jakarta is around 25,000) and lasts about one hour. It is excellent aromatherapy and you get a pretty woman giving you a rub in public view. Very nice indeed.

I get a haircut once a month and I wouldnt call my haircut unstylish by any means.

I also pay 8000 plus 2000 tip for the local place next to the main road (jalan raya). When my usual guy is not open, I can walk a block or so farther and get the same price. For something ever-so-slightly more upscale, you can go to the Johnny Andrean school at Citraland mall ("Mal Ciputra"). Their price is 13000 for a basic haircut with no wash. The Johnny Andrean school is cleaner than the street places, but more spartan than their actual salons.
This space is available for rent.
