Letter no Impediment made outside USA Embassy

In our case KUA accepted a LNI from an office of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Australia. No local embassy involvement, 8 plus years ago.

Thank you for the responses..

Yes, we are aware that USA Embassy in Jakarta is provide the LNI, but the problem is my fiancee suddenly could not arrive at the scheduled date, thus he can not proceed the LNI.
I managed to call Catatan Sipil today.. but, they insist to only receive LNI from USA Embassy
I also agree with Jstar, this is very frustrating
I'm envy Marcus that your KUA could accepted the notarized statement

Now, I need to change everything and do the preparation from the beginning again... arrrrggghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!
Please do tell me if you have any experience with Catatan Sipil in Jakarta which receive other letter beside LNI....
