lucky me.....me and nene have plan to go to Dieng. please give us some advices how to get there.

If you want to go to dieng from yogyakarta:
- from jogja to wonosobo bus station using door-to-door minibus (usually called travel)
- wonosobo bus station to dieng using minibus

I think that is the simple way to get to dieng from jogja, apart from renting a car with/without driver.

that is for you to decide perhaps you could visit Jogja after Dieng or the other way around if you have places that you wanted to visit in Jogja. But, if your destination is only to Dieng then going directly from Surabaya to Wonosobo is fine

Sorry for this late reply. Jogja to wonosobo would took about 3,5-4 hours using door-to-door minivan.

But, I still have few questions if you don't mind to answer (I know, we've asked a lot ).. Where should we take the minivan? Terminal Giwangan or Jombor or somewhere else?

Jogja office is located near tugu.
