Hello everyone,

I have to apologize beforehand because I know this forum might not be the best place to ask what I'm going to ask you about. But I'm kind of desperate and a friend of mine said that best advices usually come from total strangers.

I'm currently working for a spiritual consultant, our workspace is a house-office arrangement. I have a quite troublesome coworker who has been working here for far longer than I have. She likes to tell on everyone about anything. My previous coworker decided to quit after a week, another one left after a mere couple days. No, I can't go to my boss. Because she's dating him. And no, my boss isn't single. And yes, his wife knew all along.

I want to quit, but I need and like this job. I can't tell my family since I don't want them to be worried.

Please, give me your advice.

Just read this thread, it's not only about dealing with unfriendly coworker.. It's too complicated. It's certainly a small unhealthy working environment. My advice will be get the f*** outta there. Would do that if I were you. I'm sure you can find another job with better working environment. Have faith.

I don't have much in my background, you see. Most of the time I just got hired for my typing speed. But not many employers need someone who can type up to 350characters/minute. Sometimes I think that the problem is in me, not in the job, because it's my fourth one already.

well there are a lot of people who like to boss around. in each company there will be at least one person like that.

and if you dont like her attitude, you should not have wrote the other fact that she is having an affair with her boss. it makes the whole story bias a bit out of proportion. sounds more like gossiping ..

She likes to boss around, that's the only thing I can't stand. As for her choice to be what she is now, I don't care. My boss can have as many wives as he wants, that's none of my business.

I wrote the fact that she's dating my boss to stress the point that I can't go to him for help. That would just backfire.
