As far as I am concerned if a state wants to leave the Union, they are entitled to do it and I am not entitled to stand in their way so long as it is done peacefully, lawfully and on the basis of the will of the majority. Talk the talk, walk the walk.
I live 15 miles from Gettysburg, Pa. And have had the distinct misfortune of standing at the top of a field that was the location of one of the most brutal Battles ever fought on American soil , one day loss of life is easily compared to all of Viet Nam, that started with secession from the union. Lincoln fought to preserve the union, While I have no skin in this secession thing same as Hombre I would suggest it is a very slippery slope fraught with incredible danger and destruction.
Does that take into account Vietnamese (and Lao) loss of life?
