Was persuaded today was the 16th. Except it isn't. I woke at 3.30am, had breakfast, geared up and headed to the venue only to realize it was worryingly empty. Now it's 5am, I'm back at home and I'm all coffee'd up. F*ck.
Finished the 5K race this morning. It was my first running race and I finished in 30 minutes 25 seconds, though my runkeeper app on my iPhone said I ran 5.28km, not sure how accurate this is.
I saw many foreigners there, not sure who, if any, were forum members. I saw a foreigner passed out in the medical booth about to be taken away by the ambulance. Hope he's ok.
I was there and I did not pass out :-)
Hey all...... i ran the 10km yesterday, those kenyan sure can ran like a gazelle *thumbs up*
Did any of you used the toilet?? im a dude n am indonesian, but gotta tell u, they r absolutely disgusting!!!
the organiser should really pay attention to this detail next year........ participants vs the cubicles just doesnt add up
Haha yeah I wanted to use the toilets but chemical toilets + massive line = "mmmhh maybe not".
I saw an "informal" toilets behind some signs near the river behind the sponsor booths, exclusively frequented by male though.
