No not all, actually I got a Macbook pro, the basic 13" model for 11.8 mil from emax in Ambassador mall. A full 1 mil cheaper than iBox and other premium apple stores...

I personally won't go to Infinite store anymore. The last straw was yesterday when I was overcharged above the label price. When I asked what the difference was, they said that it was a computer error. When asked how it can be remedied, they said I have to pay the price the computer spit out (not the label) or they'll void my transaction. When asked for a manager, they said there are none.

Basically, quite rude and very unwilling to fix the issue that they've admitted is their problem.

i usually go to Ibox or eStore instead of Infinite, so never have any experience there

The funny thing is, in Jakarta even the same reseller can have different prices at different locations. For example eBox in Grand Inndonesia will have higher prices than eBox at Ratu Plaza. If you want to find the best deal, you have to check stores at different locations. The rule of thumb: cheaper rent = lower prices.

BTW, for future reference, here's the list of Apple Authorized and Apple Premium resellers in Indonesia.

Yep totally agree with Sergei. I noticed a lot of these stores do not include prices online and I am guessing that's the reason. iBox in Seneyan told me the prices differed from the online store as the online store did not include taxes which is not true. When I spoke to Apple, they said they can not control the prices the stores sell their product at.

Samantha and rabbit, The eMax store in Ambassador is a gem of a place. When I bought the MBP, I got given a store warranty as well which would cover me for accidental damage for one year and was included in the price. They are really friendly as well unlike infinite and iBox...
