Same with Mandiri and klikBCA; providers like First Media, Aetra Air, PLN, and even companies like Garuda and Lion have automated payment links.

Oh and another positive thing with CIMB Niaga here in Bali is, there are never many customers in the Bank, when I see Mandiri or BCA you can wait easily 30min+
But when I used to transfer money from a swiss bank to Niaga then I got very bad exchange rates :/ so I just use it for transfers inside Indonesia.

I believe with KlikBCA, you cannot transfer money if you are out of the country, not 100% sure, but you should check, a colleague of mine came unstuck trying to transfer money whilst abroad

I'll agree with most who are advocating BCA.

I will also say that the online capabilities of Sinarmas bank are... lacking!

Tried it with that blue electronic thing they gave me (when I went to the US). I couldn't finish the transfer that I needed...so yes, you can't transfer money using klikbca when you're overseas.

Come on, think about it: The only thing the blue digipass does, is generate a code which is tested again by the software to see if it's really you. Has nothing to do with location, does not make any connection whatsoever...

Great, now I'm wondering if I can maintain my Indonesian prepaid cellphone number of 9 years on my own i.e. reloading the credit overseas before the deadline.

With Mandiri Internet banking while traveling in the USA this summer, I was able to do all the things I do on-line in Jakarta -- pay bills, transfer money, etc.
