Are there white sand, paradise beaches in Indonesia...?

For a people accustomed to crushing population densities and who like ramai-ramai (itself likely a cultural adaptation--"involution" Geertz called it--to the population density), 20 souls on the beach may very well seem like desolate.

Can anyone recommend a white sand, paradise beach in Indonesia (if there is one)?

All previous recommendations, such as Nusa Dua in Bali or Thousand islands were disappoiting - too dirty or nothing outstanding in terms of scenary.

By paradise beach I mean, for example, the type of beach one can easily find in Thailand... Are there similar places in Indonesia?

Raja Ampat @ West Papua, Wakatobi Island @ South East Sulawesi and Tanjung Bira @ South Sulawesi. Mostly recommend for Raja Ampat and Wakatobi.

Oh How if you try at Turi Beach in Batam, Riau Island
That's very good, and many tourist from Singapore was here.
The location near Nongsa Harbour

The other place is Lagoi and Located at Bintan Island.

you can find a lot of beautiful beaches in Eas Nusa Tenggara.. Alor, Komodo National Park, Riung, and many more..
this one is kepa island, alor, East Nusa Tenggara..

Raja 4 is our next destination mid of Dec. 2012. Beautiful topside and amazing underwater - but not cheap. Missol resort as shown on above pics. will cost you around Euro 2000/pax for 7 nights . Even a rustic budget accomodation, with shared mandi bathroom still cost Euro 60 - 100/pax/night - diving is not included.

I think 1 week is not enough to explore all Raja Ampat. 2 weeks ago I was there. And yes, that's extremely island. Unfortunately, I couldn't reach Wayag. Must arrange another trip to reach Wayag. In Papua, you may go to Tablanusu, Tablasupa and Sinokisi beaches at Sentani district. At Jayapura, there is also beautiful beach named Pasir Enam not the Base G beach. Once my friend took me there but started with hiking across the hood where I saw black orchid. Also, beautiful beach at Tambrauw district-West Papua.
