I know what you mean.... I hated leaving Pete to pick everything........... we will initially only book into Graha for a month so I guess if its not for me we can move........... I love the fact it has kids club etc for our visitors hahaha
We will have to go shopping together Jelly and pig out on the ribs.......... Looks like we will be spending christmas in Surabaya now... if our youngest doesnt throw too manner spanners into the works. Rob has agreeed to fly over Brendan is still complaining.

Default Hi Alia (Domestic Goddess) and Annette (fellow Rib-eater to be.....)

    Hi Alia,

I have been having internet and mobile trouble and still am with my phone.... anyway, when I come over in September/October, I will arrange with Annette to meet up with you if that is ok??? I look forward to meeting you. I leave in 2 days, so I have run out of time on this visit. We do not have a car arranged yet, so I am a bit hamstrung here at the apartment.

We see 3 real estate properties tonight. We signed the boys up for school this morning at SES. We toured the Pakuwon Golf & Family Club today and will probably join there when we make the final move over in December/January.

It is all very exciting. It is a shame to not be staying now.... but we have my 17 year old nephew living with us in Melbourne. He will turn 18 in November and then will go to live with my husband's cousin in Melbourne, so we will move over after he is all settled and after Christmas.

Annette, it will be interesting to have your first Christmas away.... you should be well connected with some of the lovely people here by then and I am sure you will still find a way to make it special although away from your Australian home.

Annette, I am looking forward to hearing if you've gone to Porkees.... delicious, mouth-watering, dripping with meat.... a must!!! $8.50 for a rack (that is the most expensive thing on the menu. Everything else is under $3 I think... I will happily go there with you upon my return!!!

Bye for now. Take care ladies.

    Jelly.

I'm a Domestic Goddess and the Queen of Surabaya. God please bless this forum for giving me more titles than my school did. hahaha......

I look forward meeting you too, Jelly. Anytime you back here again and settled a bit, we shall meet and explore more about this beautiful city. You have my email address and phone number if I'm not mistaken, in case I can be any of help.

    Best of luck !
