Next Jakarta Gathering

mmmm...... I am wondering who chose others, and wat kind of gathering might be.....

1. Location location location: South, North, West, East or Central? North or Central is Ok. East don't have a lot of options to choose.
2. Type of restaurant: casual or fine dining - Casual okay. Fine dining might be too expensive for most of the local members.
3. Type of food: Indonesian? Western? Thai? Indian? Chinese? Others? - Thai, sure. Western, OK. Chinese, no. Indian, fine. Vietnamese, nice. Middle Eastern or Turkish, also okay. Reminded me of a nice Lebanese restaurant on Jalan Sabang. I LOVE BAKLAVA!!!! Pak Gondrong, you have to teach me how to make that.

I was in the Midwest, now I'm way south... of the border. Southern states aren't bad as long as you don't look and sound like a Mexican. Well, I kinda look like a Mexican, so it's only half bad.

Ah, I see. It's funny right? In small cities in Europe or the States, they assume all Asian look oriental. I have met strangers who just talk to me in Spanish cause they thought I was South American.

Women have been scientifically proven to have higher threshold of pain than men, so I'm not convinced.

Really? Hah, that's why men always act like they are dying even though they just have flu.

Baklava is...over-the-top sweet dessert...I get a sugar rush just thinking about it.

Okay...Queens Tandoori is a suggestion. Other suggestions are welcome...keep them coming guys.
