    In your case.... why bother to remember the name??? just run away!

    In the case of op...
    In the first day after the broke up you may pass through some phase that can be nefast is you stay on them too much long time (puting blame on everyone else, getting drunk for forget, trow yourself in any intense activity for "don'T have to think", etc)
