Is there an expat community there at all? Any one have any info / advice?

Hi CN, I live in cirebon and I don't think there are any helpful sites for you to look at.
Are you going to cirebon for work? What kind?
I would suggest staying at the Santika and ask the helpful staff there to assist you. Also, hotels are quite affordable, if you aren't staying too long, I would suggest being a long stay guest at a hotel. You can easily find reasonable hotels for about $20/day.
cheers,
Mark

I don't know any expat community in cirebon, but I sometime see foreigners in supermarket and cafe here. I think they are EF english teachers or some rattan investors.
There is an EF (english first) school here in jalan sisingamangaraja.
