Teaching Positions in Indonesia

Hello, I was wondering if anyone may be able to direct me. I am interested in teaching English in Indonesia. I have a BA however, I lack any TESL certification and have less than 1 year teaching experience. Is it possible to find work without this certification? If I need this certification, where is the best place to obtain it? I have heard several stories of un-accredited schools and certificates that are not recognized. I basically would appreciate any guidance in finding a position or with the steps necessary to get me faced in the appropriate direction.

try with stamford international school and mondial national school in semarang... Mondial has an English Course so, maybe they can arrange you to teach at the course but actually you teach at their school... PIC for both school are the same.. SYLVI

Thank you for your response and I will certainly check them out. I am determined to return to Indonesia and can use all the help/advice I can get. Also, if I was to take a TESL course should it be done in Asia or could I take it in Central America and use it in Asia. Thanks again.

Any TEFL/TESOL/CELTA course will do, doesn't matter where you get certified.
