Desperately need a maid.. !
My maid went home last Friday because her mother was hit by a car and being hospitalized. Poor woman, she was on motor cycle with her nephew and a reckless driver hit them from the back. The nephew is all right, nothing serious but some bruises and luckily he wore helmet, while she bumped her head with asphalt and having a concussion of the brain. Although the car's driver willingly to take responsibility of hospital cost, but it is really sad to hear how weak she is now. We plan to visit her in their village in Tuban this weekend and see what we can do.
But in the mean time, and apparently based on my latest call to my maid, she couldnt be back to work for unknown time. She needs to take care of the mother. Understandable, but such a bad news for me.

too many drivers in indonesia who could not drive without endangering themselves and other people.
yesterday i almost hit 2 kids ( the driver was about 7 years old, and his little brother looks like 5 years old ) on motorcycle, no helmet, no slippers or shoes, at 8PM. they crossed the street from a house without even stopping to see left and right.
after that i saw a lady with jilbab on a motorcycle, one hand busy texting her cellphone, and one hand holding her jilbab ... so she was literally doing circus show.. and her motor was not running straight. so she hit one of the neighbor's sidewalk. and fell down. she get so angry ...
durring my morning jog i saw a mom driving a car, with a baby on her lap, and she was also busy texting ... while driving.
it's time to make sure only people who can drive are allowed to drive.
