Where to find Indonesian art

Where is a good place to find Indonesian art that doesn't cost "an arm and a leg"? I have been to Pasaraya Mall several times and love their art on the top floor on the mall but it is all priced for western salaries (basically x4 what is should cost). I have ben to Bali several times and bought some nice artwork (paintings and wood sculptures) for very good prices at vendor stores. Where in Jakarta can I find the same type of decent prices?

May you can try to go to Kampung Indonesia in Kota Wisata Cibubur, there are few shops selling handcraft. I bought a wooden mask for a gift and its only cost Rp.50.000

I have been to the Ciburbor housing developments one time but did not stop to shop. Do they have paintings there also?

I am not sure if they are selling paintings...I didn't notice..
There are few gallery in Jl Raya kemang area that sell all sort of stuff, like Chic Mart, Edwin gallery,..and you can also try in Dharmawangsa Square..
How about in Sarinah Thamrin Prices, are they also costly?
