Cable Channels and Imported Food

I'll leave for Indonesia next month as to get ready for our eventual move in 2 years time to live in this beloved country of mine.
But reading that International channels will be in jeopardy due to the recent porno bill having been passed, is this true?
I was encouraged to move to Indonesia also due to having seen on my visit to Jkt 2 years ago where the supermarkets carry all the various kinds of imported food including freshly packaged salads, yes, salads... Please tell me that all this is not true?
If that's the case, I would have to convince my husband to sell our new house and just move and get a charming house in France instead...
Any advice would be appreciated.
