Certified Troll

Just noticed that permai66 has gone from "member" to "certified troll" in his status, could someone enlighten me how one becomes a certified troll? and who does the certifying?

I believe you are allowed to choose your own description in the "member" line once you reach 500 posts. (I got a PM to that effect, but so far "member" is good enough for me.)

Thanks Puspa, but he went from member with green bricks to "certified troll" with lots of red bricks. I noticed while reading through some old threads that there are a number of older members who have the same status.

Certified troll means that the offender has more than one nick AND is posting useless/obnoxious postings.

Having multiple nicks isn't an offense in it self, but deliberately acting as if your a different person each time you sign on to each nick is an offense.

I hope that clears it up.

note: Don't feed the trolls, it's bad for their health.

I was the one who asked that question sky simply out of curiosity but I do not know whether it's true or not. I did not report it to the mods either. Hopefully one of the mods will clarify it soon.
