skygarden read this thread for more info ...., BTW, mio is cheapest auto @108cc , but for a slightly little more cost the suzuki spin kills it @125cc

Well there are 3 entry level scoots by the big names. Yamaha mio, honda beat and suzuki spin. The mio is the cheapest at around 11,8jt. The beat around 12jt and the spin around 12,5jt. I have ridden on all of them and they are indeed all fine scoots and capable of atleast 50k km and above. I must however give you a nudge in the direction of the suzuki spin. Has anyone tried using pertamax in a spin? I did it last week and it hauls. Got it to 120km/h and could have got more if the gear ratios were changes. The mio has had issues with the coil providing a weak spark. its recommended to change it out with the satria coil but that wont make it the cheapest scoot anymore.
There are chinese made scoots in the 8 - 10 jt range but i wont dare tell you what they are and where to find them. I am a victim of chinese crap and can tell you that it will be totally unridable within a week.
