Language schools recruit year round. Normal schools have semesters starting (usually) in July so I'd suggest around March/April time although jobs here do become available year round as well.

Jakarta Japanese School are looking for a native teacher to start from April but would need to be available for a demo class in either February or March. They have a lot of male teachers and they are really looking for a female teacher, especially one that is likely to stay for longer than a year (I heard that the bonus is at least a $100 increase for each extra year, maybe up to $200 if the student intake is high).
Please use the contact information below if you are interested in the job.

A new English school has opened in Malang, which is looking for Native Speakers. The salary range is around 10 Jt a month, Monday to Friday with no Saturdays expected. A full teaching load is only 18-20 hours a week and they are able to consider all degrees because of some legal technicalities. The package includes 4 weeks paid holidays per year in addition to public holidays. If you want further information you can contact me on: [email protected]
