WARNING !! CONTAINS A VERY DISTURBING IMAGES THAT COULD HAUNT YOU FOR LIFETIME. LEAVE ThiS THREAD IS YOU"RE NOT READY, THERE"S NO TURNING BACK !!!!

For the people of Tana Toraja, a person's death has not been considered perfect if the ceremony Rambu Solo has not been held. Ritual death very deeply embedded in the tradition of Tana Toraja society. For those and many other tribes in this country, the departure of a person facing the Creator is something sacred, so that surviving family also has a "duty" to hold the ceremony.

According to public beliefs in Toraja, when someone dies, that person was sick and would need Rambu Solo to let their soul free.

Toraja society bodies buried at his ancestral graveyard rocky cliffs and sculptures (tau-tau). They believe, the higher the corpse was buried, the more quickly as well its late meeting with Puang Matua (God), one of the three forces that must be
worshiped besides Deata adherent Aluk Todolo-Deata (ruler and guardian of the earth) and To Membali Puang (ancestral spirits who have incarnated become gods). The high place of burial is also indicated by the higher social status person among the people of Toraja.
