    Want to work in a dynamic hotel environment in one of Indonesia’s fastest-growing tourism destinations? Are you keen to live amongst a small Indonesian village community? And most importantly, are you up for the challenge of overseeing the operations of a small boutique hotel that National Geographic Traveler Magazine considers “one of its favourite hotels in Indonesia”? We want to hear from you!

    JavaCove Beach Hotel (, a small boutique hotel in the village of Batu Karas, West Java, is seeking a Hotel Manager. The manager will be responsible for overseeing all hotel administration, staff coordination, food and beverage operations and reservation enquiries. The successful applicant will have:

    * Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook, internet proficiency – IT experience would be an advantage);
    * Prior experience in the tourism/hospitality industry;
    * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise successfully with guests, local staff, and members of the local community;
    * Fluency in written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia/English;
    * Experience living in Indonesia.

    The 12-month contractual position is open to Indonesian citizens and foreign nationals, with a salary package offered in accordance with the successful applicant's skills and experience.

    On-site training start date: 15 November, 2010 (2 weeks paid training)
    Contract start date: 1 December, 2010

    Perhaps you missed the required job posting template at the top of the"Available Job Listing" category [URL=""]

    Among other things, it requires the posting of a salary range as part of job advertisements. You would be well advised to update your listing accordingly to avoid its summary deletion.
