  • Two nights in Bali... need advice...

I want to surprise my wife with two nights in Bali... arrival 9 February in the morning and flight back to Jakarta on 11 February...

My budget is roughly 10 million for those 3 days. (without the flight)

Any recommendation where to go & stay in that time? Hotel, Villa, Resort???

She really deserve something special... but the more I google, my budget seems not to be enough.

Me was thinking of some spa treatment, with a spectacular view...

    2x Dinner... something really nice...

I would appreciate any recommendation... or even better if anyone has a link to some special rates.

    Cheers...

You could take her to the spa in Ayana Resort followed with sunset drinks at Rock Bar.

The aquatonic pool at the termes marins in Ayana is really cool with a spectacular view too.

The rock bar is very famous too, if you don't know it just Google it. Nearby, there is also the rooftop bar for drinks and dinner at Rimba hotel (attached to Ayana) which is also a nice place.

My wife tells me there is even perfume making course at AYANA.

The spa at InterContinental is also very nice.

Ayana is probably out of your budget (must double check though) but how about InterContinental? I stayed there recently and it was absolutely excellent. It's not too far from Ayana either.

Have you considered to buy discounted hotel from sites like "Groupon" disdus?

They have special discounts for hotels, or villas or restaurants.
        for example:

        Food/restaurant/eating
        http://groupon.co.id/voucher/travel-...vue-beach-club
        http://groupon.co.id/voucher/travel-...i-cruises-bali

        Villa
        http://groupon.co.id/voucher/travel-...n-dreams-villa

Once again, sorry if you feel offended (I hope not), it's just a suggestion. I myself always try to see bargains.

The Royal Pita Maha in Ubud is a nice hotel. Could this be (not "is it", "could it be") your honeymoon? We went there for ours with a honeymoon package. was several million cheaper than the normal price, included candle-light meal. Endless pools in the villas. All rooms are villas, built into the side of a crescent shaped hill so you cannot see the other villas (means you get to run around naked). Got to be one of two most luxurious rooms I have ever stayed in. Lovely. Only problem was the food, but it has been a few years, so they must have changed the chef.

Take her to Hotel Mulia in Geger Beach, Nusa Dua. You wouldnt want to go anywhere else if you stay there. The beach is like heaven on earth. White sand, clear blue water with very little waves. You can swim in the ocean or simply just sunbathe and get massage by the beach.

10 mio is just for hotels? or including food, renting car ? if 10 mio is only for hotel then the others might have given better ideas

i usually browse at booking.com too.
dont judge a book by it cover. judge it by it price. good books are expensive
