Yes, enlightening thread, I had to lookup the meaning of schlock – from the Yiddish word shlak meaning lacking in integrity, I also looked up doof on seeing EDM as electronic dance music. Doof is Australian slang for bush dance with electronic music. So there, you learn something every day, my only trouble is remembering it.
