    Up coming running events

    Thought we could list the up and coming running events in Indonesia.

    Ones in Jakarta

    Wine, cheese and run event in Kelapa Gading - Sunday 26th May
    10km race with grand prize of a trip to run a marathon in France. There is also a fancy dress category for those like me know are unlikely to win the 10km.

    If you know of any others please add them here. I'm planning on going to the Bali, Bromo and Jakarta Marathons. Will be doing the half at each of them

    Maybe I can cheer you from the sidelines on 27 October - a 5k is the most I could handle!

      Outside Indonesia but worth the trip:

      14th PanAsia Hash from July 5th to July 7th in Pattaya, Thailand.
      I'll certainly be there with a few MH4 friends.

              I'll be definitively there. The last one, as you surely know, was in Manado and was a steep 20 km run in between Manado and Tomohon via the Permesta trail.
              Will you be attending the Jogja one?

                Yep I did the hash challenge at the start of March. Was hard going with lots of steep terrain and the heat but glad I did it. Some of the Jakarta hashers have challenged the organizers to come and complete a 42 km hash challenge in Jakarta next year. Rough planning is September 2014. I'll definitely be planning on doing the Jakarta hash challenge.

                @altantis I don't think I'll be at the Pan Indo hash but plans could change. I'm planning on doing the Bali Tri Hash in Oct/nov this year just waiting for the details to be released

                  Unfortunately I doubt that I will be able to be in Bali. October/November is a period where I am not often in Indonesia.

                        There is Mapala UI half marathon (10k & 21k) on 12 May, registration ended quite soon, on 30 April.

                        I am joining Mapala UI (10k), wine & chesse (10k), and Jakarta marathon (21k), Bromo marathon (21k probably).
