We all (that is, "we" who have been around this forum a while) know that you think all religions are bullshit, and you are well and truly entitled to hold that opinion. But what is the point in expressing (as you have done countless times ... that is, I certainly can't be bothered counting them) your disdain? Do you get a cheap thrill out of bashing what you obviously see as an empty pinata, and at the same time showing your lack of regard for those who take it seriously?

Serious questions, not rhetorical ones. I'd like to hear an honest answer.
Cheap thrills mostly. But I think "bashing" is a bit too harsh; more like poking fun. The effort at serious discussion of religious dogma is laughable stuff, give, as I note, the historical precedence of what used to pass for serious discussion among religious scholars.

When you say it what way, it makes me feel like the thread topic might be a bit asinine, as every religion is someone's religion. (except for the one's that aren't, like mine, which is agnosticism) It's really easy. The logic is: Mine is the only true religion, all others are equal in validity (in that they are equally wrong). We're not picking a winner, this is runner-up mode. Again, I may have made an offensive thread here. Sorry, if anyone chooses to take offense. I will respond to PMs.

Hey,"serious discussion of religious dogma" is always laughable, unless you believe it. It's the definition of faith. But, what's this about how many angels can dance on the head of a pin? Can you give me enough info for a google search?

I'd be searching for "angels" for a start.

Refresh my memory. How many angles can dance on the head of a pin?
