  • The ever since 1961 recognized West Papua Melanesian State & the ANZUS Alliance

    Dear participant,

Because of the 1950 ANZUS Alliance, Australia will support the US against China, although the ANZUS purpose when originated with the 1947 Canberra Agreement, was to create a buffer between Australia and a possibility of Muslim agression, either from Indonesia or other Muslim dominated Asian states.

More US Naval-activity these coming months is therefore welcomed by Papuans who are suffering from genocide by the corrupt and brutal RI Generals regime. For more background on the security pact:

    See link: http://www.securitychallenges.org.au...o1Siracusa.pdf

    See link: http://www.danbymp.com/

As the territory of West Papua and its Melanesian territorial borders which were recognized with the 1947 Canberra Agreement are of the utmost strategic importance for the Pax Americana western Worldpeace in the Asia- Pacific region, recent developments show the importance of the ANZUS-pact, and the US who are acting accordingly. Historically, Papuans once served under general Mac Arthur and its Military Headquarters in West Papua during World War 2, which marks West Papua Melanesia's strategic importance.

    See link: http://www.thejakartaglobe.com/asia/...-claims/479680

It is our guess that the US will urge the croocked and corrupt RI state and its State terror/genocide to Papuans, to COMPLY WITH ANY SOLUTION the US will dictate to RI (also for US Freeport sake).

As RI's presence in West Papua Melanesia has become the joke of the past 49 years, any allegations over RI's rightfull administration over West Papua Melanesia are based on pure and well known RI propaganda and needs to have a serious reality-check according to latest events.

One could agree that RI's Military solutions in the Paniai-district are simply and not from this time, to what extend does West Papua needs to be a part of this? According to RI's recent behaviour against Papuans and these territorial developments, Indonesia's time in West Papua Melanesia has definately come to and end.

    See link: http://westpapuamedia.info/2011/12/1...across-paniai/

(Please forward this news link to people interested/ concerned for recent update on the situation in West Papua Melanesia, thank you)

In this respect, the recent activity of dozens of new US soldiers, dressed as civilians and officially being Freeport-detached personnel, mainly in the Timika region should be a welcoming step in solution finding. The US should now step up to its responsibility and urge the Netherlands to bring the International 1962 New York Agreement back to the UN C-24 on the referendum obligation. This inorder to maintain stability in the Pacific-region. As the US once brokered RI's the annexation of West Papua Melanesia, now is the time to take back responsibility.

One might conclude that the Netherlands as Co-signers of the 1962 New York Agreement, are willing to review its implementation in a Court case and hold RI accountable for 49 YEAR OF PROOVEN MISMANAGEMENT of the Papuan territory.

The Netherlands already showed their willingness by means of recognition of the since 1961 proclaimed and worldly recognized West Papua Morningstar Flag and the West Papua state, this after 49 years of denyal. The Morningstar Flag is waving in the Free World on West Papua's National Day the 1st of December 2011 on a Dutch Governemental building. This UNIQUE hoisting was held without any incidents or people getting shot.

    See Media coverage link: http://www.omroepgelderland.nl/web/N...-Apeldoorn.htm

How Indonesia is managing its RI or RIS state or lives up to its own Pancasilla-doctrine is of NO CONCERN WHATSHOWEVER to the people of West Papua Melanesia, as one might conclude now that there are higher interests at stake.

For more views on the re-establishment of the ever since 1961 declared West Papua Melanesian State, and West Papua's stolen Right to Self Determination, see our earlier posts and links on this Forum.

We would like to have the forum's comments on these developments, as well as where does this leave RI if they refuse to participate in any alternative solution for West Papua Melanesia? Papuans with their vast natural resources and wealth paying for the financial costs of TNI Military-maintance is simply outdated.

Furthermore by which motives could RI allege that the West Papua Melanesia case remains an RI exclusive one instead of becoming an international one, because of ineffective RI-solution finding for West Papua untill this very day?

Insja Allah / Na Kores Kaku Ra Refo!

    Setia Djudjur Mesra!

Kobe, was the referendum on which Papua's integration into Indonesia depended a fraudulent sham? Yes or No.

A lot of innuendo and assumptions: 'one might conclude', 'are willing to', etc. etc. I would like to see more official statements on the position of the Dutch government. Not only press articles with mainly journalist opinions.

The Papuan lobby in The Netherlands is pretty influential btw. The article on the flag of the Morningstar being put up in Apeldoorn, is questionable: it states that Viktor (the son of Marcus Kaisiepo) lives in Apeldoorn. He passed away in 2010 and lived in Amersfoort! I understand raising a flag gets symbolic attention since the flag exists exactly 50 years (it was invented by Marcus Kaisiepo).

What I like about Viktor Kaisiepo, is that he was realistic. He wanted the Papuans to focus on specific targets in the short term future: fighting hunger, poverty, AIDS and malaria, reduce the high mortality rates among future mothers and children, stand up for women's rights, stabilize the environment and seeking international support for economic development. His view: Principles are important, but now it's about being practical and solving urgent issues.

Aha. Tell you what, I've opened all the links you've provided and found no words referring to Islam nor Muslim/Moslem. It appears to me you make the words up to build up an anti-Muslim sentiment that will eventually lead to the liberation of this West Papua Melanesia and greater hatred towards Islam, but well of course you're going to ignore this.

This is sad. You view that your way to independence is by promoting prejudice toward Muslims?

Dear participants, ignoring above assumptions would be right inorder to underline that this is not the main point we are making in above posting.
To put our posting in a certain perspective we are elaborating on this.

Are we being naive in the assumption that without a financed western styled TNI, backed up with huge western military aid and under dictatorships for the past 40 years, the odds that Indonesia had turned into a fundamental Muslim state would have been big? Our guess is that these scenarios were also considered by the US.
It should be noted, that a decade ago under Gus Dur's presidency RI's good intentions were showed towards Papuans by recognizing the West Papuan flag in the New Millenium: As a result, new generations in West Papua got to know the importance symbolism of this flag and its history. What more would having religious leaders as a RI Heads of state would have brought their neighbouring Papuan territory? One can only guess.

But at the time this was clearly not the US agenda once a RI Generals regime was designed for Indonesia in the days of communistic threat throughout Asia. One cannot close their eyes on how the RI is organised this present day (on which we're repeatedly stating that this is of NO CONCERN WHATHOWEVER to West Papua's struggle for Merdeka 100%), as this is an outcome of the Pax Americana Worldpeace and Treaties like the ANZUS Alliance which western countries in the 1950's agreed upon at the time to clearly avoid communistic threat.

Furthermore with this stability-pact the US managed to maintain its interests by backing the CIA trained president Suharto for more than 30 years and supporting his politics of supressing not only Papuans.

The idea of rasing anti Muslim sentiments within West Papua's Freedom and Merdeka 100% struggle cannot hold as even during the Dutch New Guinea period, representatives of Muslim belief were candidates for the electorate to choose into the New Guinea Council (West Papua Melanesia's first elected provisional governement. West Papua Melanesia therefore would become a modern (Dutch) styled society with inhabitants not only of several descent (Western,Asian, Papuan), but mainly of all religions.

            To be clear on this:
TNI of (mainly) Muslim belief are being provided with conventional weapons from western (Christianic) WASP countries, inorder to commit genocide and state terror in West Papua Melanesia to Papuans (of several kinds of belief).

As the US is now living up to the ANZUS Alliance, this could mark a turning point in the West Papua Melanesia Freedom struggle, for more background:

We would like to have the Forum comments on these latest territorial US Naval activity near North Australia and Singapore in relation to West Papua its strategic importance.

Ah, now comes the much abused word: "terror". You're trying to convince western countries that Indonesians are a bunch of Islamist terrorists. Why don't you bring this hate propaganda to Geert Wilders, you might score another supporter. Well, you have probably been in contact with him.

Indonesians are the most integrated in Dutch society so Geert Wilders has nothing on them. And with the Moluccan crisis and hijacks still in people's memory he would be crazy to stir up this pot. But you're right; it's really easy to work on people's fear. There is a high level of 'a friend is one who has the same enemies as you have' in this discourse.

This thread contains prejudicesism and malice propaganda to promote another Indonesia's disintegration agenda.....
Hiding behind the name of freedom expression, by allowing repetition of posts of the same content, this website is clearly supporting disintegration of Papua from Indonesia...

It is sad to see that the name 'living in indonesia' is being used as shield for parasitic purpose toward Indonesia itself.....

By the same token, you should condemn the Indonesian nationalist propaganda and indoctrination that has been used to malign separatism and used as license to justify homicide, torture and repression. Wasn't hyping up the fear of Communism the convenient pretext for the adventure in Timor? For good or for bad, agree with it or not, Kobe is only using the same tactics that Indonesia has used to delegitimate, demonize and combat its own internal enemies. Like Indonesians against the Dutch, he's learned to deploy the tools and tactics of the colonial master against the colonial master. Siapa gurunya?

You've written something, and now you ask everybody to ignore it and don't even bother to explain your stance, sorry that's not the case.

What if one says that the TNI used to have a top Christian general?

You still have to explain why we Indonesians are all "Muslim aggressors". Tell you what, I'm a Catholic and an Indonesian.

To make it clear too, I'm seeing you trying to shift the topic from West Papua Melanesian freedom into highlighting that Indonesia is a bastion of Muslim terrorism, ignoring the fact that Christians also make up the population of the country. Of course you're going to deny that: you don't live here.

Now you appear to encourage the Americans here to tell the Congressmen to invade WPM with the American forces stationed in Darwin, while countering China's influence and the piracy is the priority. You clearly come here with an agenda.

Yes, look who's speaking ? people who stayed at Indonesia, claimed they loved indonesia and try to disintegrate Indonesia at the same time ?There's always an exit door for those who doesnt like this country. Much more gentle if one positioned themselves as the enemy, rather than hiding and stabbing others from behind...

Of course not, thats how the world works, aight ?

                            I was referring to Kobe...
Question is, Who's Kobe ? He's not a nation, not representing a major voice of people, Please remember sir, we are living in the world of majority law rules....
When the US said, Iraq is axis of Evil, and the whole allies agree, its the law. When Indonesia used propaganda and indoctrination toward what so called maligne separatist, it is justifiable, in the name of national stability. If the people disagree, question is, which group ? A death of one is a tragedy, a death of millions, is a statistic....

Democracy and freedom of expression is a double headed sword, this thread is one example of how the other side of sword used in wrong direction....

Agree with Snook that repression is bad. But we need a nuance here; it's not fair to compare the situation in Papua with Timor. Especially if you see that there are many (also local) voices speaking out for a united solution. Not to forget that the resistance against the Dutch with the desire to join Indonesia has been very strong in Papua. Look at the history of national hero Frans Kaisiepo (it's ironic his brother was Marcus Kaisiepo btw).

                              I
f I had to compare, I would rather say the (complex) situation is more like Northern Ireland...and for many Indonesians it's more like Thailand or the Philippines.
