    (1) Depends on your personal needs .

    I already had/still have accounts in bank (in West Java) : Mandiri , BCA , Nusantara Parahyangan , BRI , Danamon , ABN-Anro , HSBC , Panin , Mega , BPR x , Credit Union y , Standard Chartered , .. (I closed accounts in most of them already) . In my view , all of these banks have good overall service with few having a particular service that made me still work with them (good interest , or good currency exchange , for example) .     (2) I had a Citibank account in my country which I closed because I didn't see any benefit to me . It may be good for you , who knows .

    If you tell us what kind of bank product/service you need , we could tell you our opinion .
