  • Kitas nikah expired

    Hello,

Just to make things clear which option would be the best for me with the goal for getting a kitas/kitap again.
I am from the Netherlands and married with an indonesian woman. We have 2 kids with 2 nationalities. The marriage and birthcertificates are legalized.
My marriage kitas after extending ended on 5 December 2016. I needed to go back to the Netherlands for urgent matters for a long time. I am just back on a tourist visa right now for the last month.

    1) One option is getting my wife to sponsor me and go back and forth to Singapore. Back in Indonesia I could start the process.
    2) Telex(Only in prehistorical indonesia) visa, which would be faster.

If i choose one of these options, does anyone knows which agent there is trustworthy and are the sponsor letters and picture sizes still the same? Regulations changes so fast here.
Does anyone know a reliable visa agent who can do it in one day?

Is there another option, so i do not need to go out of the country?

    Thanks

    Regards

    Daniel

    (a) See list in the link . My agent is MPP , since 2015 , but never met him . If you don't live in Jakarta or Bali , ask the agent from there if they have an associate in your city , or look for an travel agent in your city (although not all works with visas) , or go to Kantor Imigrasi and look for people with a lot of documents (probably an agent) .

    (b) I disagree . Regulations don't change much . Basically , the present rule is from 2013 (but sponsor letter is the same since some 20 years , photos is becoming all digital) .

    (c) The only thing that can be done in one day is a Visa in Singapore , if this is what you mean .

    (d) Supposing you want a KITAS , there are 2 options : getting a (single entry) Family Visit Visa (popularly know as Sosbud Visa) sponsored by your wife , or a VITAS/Limited Stay Visa .
If you hire an agent , probably he/she will opt for the VITAS (Telex Visa > VITAS > KITAS) .
