  • Link Bucks "redirecter"

I've just started having problems with Link Bucks redirecter with this site, and only this site. Only with my iPad, which is strange since I don't usually have any problems with Safari based browsers.

Anyone else run into this problem?

I am on here in the mornings on my ipad. No problems with Safari. Don't know what a Link Buck redirector is but I haven't noticed anything different from all my other visits.

It opens up another window, that says, "Link Bucks", connecting in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Very annoying.

Only have had it happen in Bandung.

Googling it, it seems that in some cases it's even something that installs in your wifi router. It's not all the time on the ipad, only sporadically.

Istanbul. Not familiar with this particular problem, could be too many things if I have to judge from the description alone.

I now have it on both iPad and PC. Seems to only hit websites (from my browser) that don't have https addresses.

It's probably on my wireless router.

More likely it is inserted by the ISP. They've been injecting their own ads into site visited by their users for years. I've started seeing ad popups that cover page for 5 seconds on my mobile browser, inserted by Telkomsel (they don't even hide it anymore). And the reason it doesn't happen on HTTPS sites is because they cannot do so when traffic is encrypted end-to-end - one more good reason to add HTTPS to this site.
