these last few weeks, a great big tokek seems to have taken up residence somewhere in the house. He spends a lot of time perched on top of the air conditioner (out of reach) and likes to sing along with the 4am prayer call. He's kind of adorable and I've noticed a dramatic reduction in mosquito bites since he showed up but I'm still worried that it might be a bad idea to have him hanging around. He's maybe 35cm long and more than a little jumpy. Is there any reason to be worried about him? If so, is there a safe way to get rid of him without hurting him?

I have a housesitter/catsitter lined up for a 3 week trip to new york, but she has been asked to go out of town for work June 9-14. I would love to find someone to feed two 8-week-old extremely adorable kittens during that time. I hate to stick them in a cage at the vet for all that time--seems sad.

I would expect a visit 2x/day or if you have references/I can meet you in advance, you could stay in the house . Pay is negotiable (not sure what the going rate is here). The job includes, or course, scooping the litter box which is why I don't feel I can fairly ask my non-pet loving staff to take it on. The kittens will love to play with you but they are very good buddies and will also keep themselves happy on their own, provided they have food!

I live in Bogor Baru, with internet and cable, and a part-time housecleaner.

Let me know if anyone is interested and available.
