Just out of curiosity Pimpin what makes you a "master" of the game of pool......I am not saying you are not but in order to give this some thought I would need to know what your background is.

I appreciate that question. I don't claim to be a "master" of the game. My goal is to become one. This is what I have. I have been playing pool for 30 years. My first five years started by playing snooker on average three days a week 15 hours a week. Last August I took five days of lessons, three hours a day with an Indonesian pro. I believed in his theory and followed as best as possible everything he told me then and since. He is also a friend of mine so I spar with him to help myself and him in his quest to compete in local, national and international tourneys. I not only play I also spend much time performing a variety of drills set at different degrees of difficulty. My confidence level has gone from zero to 100 in a short period of time. The last year I have played about five days a week on average of 3 hours a day.

If I have a serious student that has played the game before, I can take them in a short period of time and improve their game by 70%. When I say serious one must practice what I teach every time they practice, drill and play in fun games. There is plenty of strategy in 8ball I can impart. 9 and 10ball has some strategy but is mostly key to have great placement. The ideal circle of placement is much smaller in those games so I like playing them to prepare for a larger circle in 8ball. I have the means if you have the drive.

But you know, all what I am saying could be utter crap so I invite anyone serious to come out and play some games with me for a couple of hours to see if I am worthy of being your teacher. If I am buy me a few drinks and possibly lunch. Then we can setup when it is best for you to get together with me to get down to business.

I have seen Pimpin in action and I can say that he is very good. How good? Well in the 2 frames that I was watching he cleared every ball from the table on his first visit. Did not give his opponent a single shot. In my book thats a top class player. I am sure that he could pass on a lot of good stuff.
