Wondering if anybody here has had any experience, good or bad, with SWA.

5 year old son is attending brand new JWA this August. Will most likely end up at JIS in a few years, but not willing to pay for JIS tuition at his age yet.

We picked SWA because it is close-by, has integrated Mandarin program, has deep pockets (for facilities), and led by an expat. I found that at the end of the day, expats are a lot more organized than locals....speaking for personal experience as my son has attended int'l preschool and nat'l + (but mostly nat'l) school. Son was happy anywhere, but as a parent, I was much happier when I knew what was going on at school!

But of course, JWA is a totally new school and SWA is a relatively new school. And as first day of school approaches, I am both excited and anxious.

Anyone?

Thanks,
Nana

I know a few people that work at SWA, rest assured it is a good school. I've mainly heard good things about them.

Well, I've heard comments about the nationalities of the teachers that they hire, and I've heard comments about the wages for their teachers being ok, but the overall package is not so good. But nothing that I consider worth repeating.
