View Full Version : Jazz or Swift
Hi friends :p...I've just registered this site, and I'm so happy to know this site which contains great informations.
I need some opinion from you all, when you will buy a car, which you'll be interested? Honda Jazz or Suzuki Swift?
Thanks,

I think the Honda Jazz has the better awards, no?
But for me, I already drive another car, I don't think I wish to get a new small car.
Hi Kingwilly, thanks for comment...
I never drive suzuki but I got honda before. My advise, you should check in few areas:
1. Fuel efficient (to me this is very important)
2. Engine
3. Handling
4. Outlook
5. Cabin space
6. Long term usage
7. Re-sale value
1. i-dsi jazz (a friend said, average of 18kms/ltr for city usage), vtec jazz will be comparable to swift and yaris (11-13kms/ltr)
2. ?
3. ?
4. personal preference
5. jazz (but sirion might be better in this area)
6. ?
7. jazz for sure

Hi Gypsy, thanks for your advices :). Fuel efficient is compare. I like Swift model.
I'm a bit scared with Jazz as quite accidents of jazz :p.

2. ? >Engine: smaller engines are often cheaper to fix, but a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder. Mmmm.. decent acceleration.
3.? >Handling: maybe both have about similar tires. With their similar turning radiuses, both certainly handle approximately the same into and out of tight
spots.
6. ? >Long term usage: good reliability so if something does break, the parts are cheap and easy to install. Also decent safety.

If you compared the Jazz with SWIFT, I personally choose SWIFT.

Both small economic cars. In Jakarta traffic I see more swift than Jazz, see online which has more second hand sale, more is better meaning that has a better second hand value. Outside look of a car is important but more important is inside where if u see outside 2 times a day u will be inside for at least 2 hours in Jkt traffic. See both, test drive if possible which one u like, buy that one. Both compact economic cars, so fuel consumption will be almost the same. For me I also like the style of Swift but when u get in, seats not comfortable, inside material (steering wheel, dashboard etc) looks so cheap. Tough call anyway, if still not bought as I said see them both, which one u like buy that one. At the end of the day u the one will be enjoying or hating it. Specs all same...
The original post was 3 years ago, the Op has not logged in for 2 years, I somehow doubt they will be reading your opinion.
You do not need to dig up every single post in the forum and respond.
Try to understand the information which goes with the post
