Anyone know the approx. price of a 32/40" HDTV?

Like a sony 32" or 40" LCD or something? i know that stuff costs more there, just wondered what the going price is now.

If no-one has the answer on hand, try this link (http://www.electronic-city.net/). Ask them the pricing for an exact model and provide them the reference. It won't be the best price you could get in JKT, but it will be in a correct middle range. When I checked they were "under preparation" (?). Check again later.

By the way, check the LG brands stuff also. Quite cheap, reasonable quality and much easier to service than Sony in Indonesia if you live outside Jakarta. I have a bunch of LG stuff at home (TVs, DVD players, Stereo, Washing machine... dll) and I had so far only one problem with a huge 53" TV retroprojector. It was three years old and it broke down. LG took it back and since they stopped the production of the item, they offered me 70% of its value in cash + a really good deal (about 20% below the recommanded retil price) on a 47" LCD TV. More than fair.

I recently bought a samsung 32" for 6 million with 40" about 11.

My mother has just checked out an LG 40" full HD with screen protector. It's worth 12.5 million. The 37" is around 10 million.
