Hmmm, I remember seeing one but could not remember seeing it exactly. Besides, this is a raining season. Unless your kids like to play in becek condition, outdoor playground is a bit out of he option at the moment.

I want to say Suropati Park on Diponegoro St., The National Monument (Monas), The Bull field (Lapangan Banteng) and perhaps Borobudur Intercon Hotel.

Your only other options are the ones within the fastfood spots such as Jolly Bee (I can't think of where would JB's spot be in Central Jakarta, though).

At least you can start from there :)

Check out this website - indonesia-for-kids.blogspot.com

It has some great info about activities for kids in Jakarta, and lists some outdoor playgrounds too.

 that's a pretty good site but I don't see Bandung!

The only outdoor play grounds (amusement places) are the pay type such as Ocean Park in BSD City, etc. These are all considered private pay facilities. There are not public parks I would go to because they tend to get crowded with homeless people and are full of trash. An alternative is to drive to some nice housing developments outside of Jakarta and secretly use their green spaces to run around and play.

Try Prefere 72 in Kemang. My son doesn't want to leave!
