Hi all,

Another newbie question: I am going to Jogja this Monday to do language classes. I have gotten ringing endorsements for Realia, Wisma Bahasa, and Alam Bahasa from different people. Can anyone enlighten me on the pros and cons of each, or at least give some additional points of view?

One person has also mentioned Puri Bahasa, but no one else I've come across has heard of it.

I should also mention finally that I am looking to find consulting work in Indonesia, so the ability to network through these programs is also important to me - if I will meet other people through the program, and what type of people I might meet.

Thanks so much!

I studied at Wisma, and have nothing but good things to say about them. The holy trinity used to be Wisma, Puri and Realia. You canīt go wrong with Wisma.

Embassy and NGO staff regularly pass through Wisma. You may have some luck networking, though the people there are newly arrived so they may not be in the best position to hire and that may not be their initial priority.

they used to be the sam school & they spred a part, but they all have the streg\ngth & quality.
Alam Bahasa is a new name for Puri Bahasa as there is another school with the same name claiming that it's the first.
I recommend U to go to Alam Bahasa. The other two are not bad at all, though.
