Has anyone used REX before to send items to locations in Indonesia? Experiences?

My wife is considering to represent them at her shop and is gathering information to a make sound decision.

Do you mean RPX? I used them once five years ago to move from Medan to Jakarta. They delivered all of my stuff, about 1 truck overland and arrived 3 days early with everything in perfect condition. They are the local partner for Fedex, I think. My experience was great, but I only used them once so it may have been a fluke.

Thanks for your input, Matt. No, RPX is a different company that is the local partner for FedEx.

REX (PT Royal Express) has been operating since the year 2000 in Indonesia, currently with branches in 47 cities across the nation. Company has a pretty good website: www.rex-indonesia.com (http://www.rex-indonesia.com)

Everything appears positive thus far for my wife to represent them, only would like to receive some input from actual customers, not individuals who are identified by the company as customers who only give high reviews. :biggrin:

So then go back to REX and ask for a list of all of their customers they have a long term contract with, then contact those people.

Btw, do they send liquids overseas? I've asked TIKI and they would not deliver anything in liquid form....

No, REX will not ship any liquids at all. :frown2:

I presume that the shipping rates with DHL are expensive?

I have seen a few offices in Jakarta of other shipping businesses - one that I recall is Elang (spelling?) - have you contacted any of those businesses?

Thanks. I have not asked DHL for a quote yet but will slowly search one that does liquids.
