Anybody know of a restaraunt that serves a traditional turkey dinner in Bali?

Some of the big hotels in Jakarta have a Thanksgiving buffet, with mixed result judging from last year's thread on the subject. I realize that tourist from the USA are not found in large numbers in Bali, but perhaps one or more of the big hotels might be offering something similar to their counter-parts in the Big Durian. Then again, perhaps not -- turkey dinner is not "traditional" here abouts.

The wife, baby Hombre and I had dinner tonight to celebrate Thanksgiving. We are purists or fundamentalists so we had miso soup, sashimi salad and a jumbo dragon roll at Sushi Tei. At the end of our Thanksgiving Dinner we resolved to go down to Kuta and have dinner at Sushi Tei at least once a month...

I'd also be interested to know. I've asked around just about where to buy turkey, (ayam kalkun) but most people seem to think it's not for eating, more of a rarity and treasured animal.

I know in Aphrodite in Klub Rasuna behind Pasar Festival they are advertising a Turkey dinner for up to ten people for Christmas. I don't know if there is one available for Thanksgiving but will ask when I go there tonight or tomorrow.

Then it sounds like you enjoyed yourself and have something to be thankful for. That sounds about as purist as one can get. :smile2:
