Where can I find a wood carver?

I want to find someone who can carve a chess set of wayang kulit characters. Does anyone know if there is a location where a lot of wood carvers hang out?

I believe that possibly you want Wagang Golek (wooden puppets Sundanese) not Wayang Kulit (leather skin shadow puppets Javanese) if so Bandung is probably a good place to look. There is/was one carver in Bogor Pak Dase Lebak Kantin RT 02/IV.

You could try this link in Bandung for a start, if they cannot they may know someone who can.
