You can try for Pasar Kenari, best known to the local for its price, quality and wide product range.

try Mitra10 or Depo Bahan Bangunan. Not really sure though. I always find that ACE has a better list of products than Mitra10.

I am not certain about the availability of Thistlebond, but for general hardware and building supplies Mitra10 & Depo Bangunan are good alternatives to Ace. There are a couple of "hardware streets" (probably more) that you may wish to check out, as well: Jalan Pinangsia south from Mangga Dua Raya across from the Kota train station, and Jalan Panglima Polim in Melawai. Good luck and if you find Thistlebond, be sure and let the rest of us know where.

I have no idea where they are located, possibly Tanjung Priok or Surabaya on Java as they are also ship repairers beside supplies and chandelry. Obviously if they are not in Priok it's not much good unless they will mail you.

As an alternative ou could also try the numerous marine suppliers listed on:-

They all don't list their supply inventories though so you would have to contact them.

I hope the above is of some help in pointing you in the right direction. I can't see you getting Thistlebond in a local hardware store here.
