Kamseumpay

That make couple of time I hear this word -kamseumpay- in TV (not sure if the writing is good).
Here in Samarinda Nobody seem to know what it mean (at least the few at who I ask)

That make a while I tease my wife with this world because she can't told me what it mean.
Yesterday, our nurse was listening teenage program and they were repeating it continually, they even make a song with it

Does someone can told me what it mean???

Apparently it means "kampungan sekali uh payah" or "very provincial, pfft, lame"

"Kamseupay" is a word that was so famous in Twitter couple months ago. It stands for "Kampungan Sekali Udik Payah" or as Injun said, "Kampungan Sekali Uh Payah". Both are correct. Actually, Kamseupay was so popular in the 80's. But lately, Marrisa Haque (one of Indonesian famous actress in 80's era) made it famous again in Twitter. She started to make a twitwar with some people and called them Kamseupay. Not so long after that, Kamseupay became a famous word again! :D

I grew up in the 80's and I don't remember kamseupay. I do remember kamse or kamso, which is the slang for kampungan. Marissa Haque probably invented that word.

Injun, kamso is kampunge ndeso .. means that someone is living in a kampung in a desa . dont think that was marissa haque who invented that word. and that kamseupay thing was brought back by haque because her mind still live in the 80's , not because she tried to go 'vintage' ..

marissa hague used to be one of the A list actress in Indonesia ... later on she got interested in politic ..
she is married to a ex rocker ( wannabee IMO) ikang fawzi.

she was quite pretty , but i've never been a fans of her at all. there were some discrepancies between what she said and what she did ( during her time as actress)
last year she was involved in a twitter fight with Addie MS 's son, as she said that addie's wife used to have an affair with another actor ( who some people believe marissa was chassing after him ) ....
