I've got something to share since this community is super awesome!
Not only the authentic belly dance they have, but also for the cool social environment that has been shaped! Lots of people from various ethnicity and nations are Bellydance Jakarta's students, from Japan, Australia, US, Arab, Taiwan, and of course Indonesia. Learning belly dance here is just like crossing the boundaries and it becomes a time where you meet nice new people outside your daily environment and get to know their life & culture! This community could be a sweet escape from the boring routines.
The teacher is the most professional in Indonesia because she's been learning belly dance for more than 10 years and certified (4 certificates for teaching). She learned this dance from Middle Eastern dance masters like Mo Geddawi, Jillina, Raqia Hassan, Hadia, etc.
Every year she invites international belly dance masters and does a "hafla" (belly dance party) with them. Also, this community always holds a theatrical show at Gedung Kesenian Jakarta (a historical building of Arts). This would be a good chance to sharpen your belly dance skill and be a star, at least among family and friends :smile:
Now it has classes in three locations: Sudirman, Kemang, and Permata Hijau!

Saturday 10am - Bellydance Jakarta Studio, Permata Hijau
Monday 7pm - Intercontinental Hotel, Sudirman
Wednesday 7pm - Sanggar NariNari, Kemang | Jl. Taman Kemang I Kav. 11, behind Tamani Cafe
