I'm sorry to say, but that is a real problem.....
Normally I have size 8, but in Indonesia sizes are smaller then ours. Even size 9 didn't fit.
So I'm afraid you have to order them at a (US) website.........

What exactly do you mean by 'gym' shoes?

I agree with one of the posters above that sizes here are smaller. A 9.5 in Adidas equates to a 9 in the UK. Regarding gym shoes, the best shoes you can use in any gym for any activity are the Chuck Taylor Allstars.

These are available in 11 for sure - who knows, maybe they have the 12s. Alternatively, you could try the factory outlet stores as they sell super-sized items.

No i had no luck in finding any trainers out here ,fortunately someone kindly had bought a pair back from the uk , good quality sandals i found a pair 47 in Bali you might be lucky and find a pair here(Jakarta) but you will have to hunt, as for shoes i have been informed that you can get a pair made for you and if i remember correctly the name of the establishment is called Bens i think in Kemang correct me if i am wrong ,i hope this has been of some help to you
