owners manual for Pajero dakar, 4x4

I am looking for an owners manual for a New Pajero Sport Dakar 4x4, The Dealer in Medan says they are never issued,, and refuses to give me one,,
Does anyone know the sales people for Mitsubishi in Jakarta???

Will do. We're getting an Exceed. Thought the engine of the Dakar is too big for our needs.

I thought they stopped making the Exceed this year???

Didn't hear about that. In fact the 2012 model was just released end of Oct, so that's what we ordered. Our unit just arrived and I went there to specify the tint (shade) and check on the additional accessories. The 2011 and 2012 differs only on 3 areas - headlights, additional a/c unit for the back passenger and one other small thing I can't remember. New price is also only 4 Jt (I think) more.

A manual is released on all models, I was told, that's why they don't understand why you didn't get yours. They unfortunately do not sell the Owner's Manual (was told no dealer does) separately, much less give it away as extra - I tried ;-) Anyway, I left them your email address, in case there are changes on that policy and I will email you my agent's email add.

I'm trying to upload a picture of the owner's manual as they suggest that you bug your dealer by showing them that a manual has indeed been produced for that model. If I'm not successful with the uploading, I will send it via your email.

Since the Dakar and Exceed are similar save for the Dakar having a sun roof and other nice extras :-), both models use the same manual - with the Dakar displayed on the cover even. I can lend you our manual (when we get the car) for photocopying if you can't get it from anywhere else.

I find this tedious for you as everywhere else (countries) I bought a car - the manual was always the least of my problems. Sorry for the trouble.

Great! Can't imagine owning a vehicle without a manual! No bother, just so happened that I was on my way to a dealer anyway...glad to be of assistance. Happy to hear that you are more than satisfied with your Pajero. It took us months to decide on which vehicle to get.

What color did you get? Asking because all considered, we wanted white but I think Jakartans (don't know about the rest of Indo) seem to be tired of black, so there is a long queue for white - like 2 months queue. We won't get the car until after all the upgrades have been installed, maybe 1st week of Dec.

Let me know when you are in Jakarta, a good chitchat about cars over beers would be fun:-) Cheers.

We wanted White, as you knnow keeps cooler and not so hard to keep clean. Then they said after waiting a month we cant have white, unless we wait another 2 months.,, So we got offeres Brown, or Black,, so i said Black,, Then the dealer said whats wrong with brown its really nice, so i asked him if he could show me an example which he couldnt so i asked for the Black which he said he couldnt deliver.. So i asked for my deposit back,, then he managed to produce one,,
Yes service here is differnt,,
