Living in Bali and not sure to get the 150cc or the 250cc d tracker. Love a 250 but cost so much more and worry if stolen?
Any suggestions?

Sounds like you made up your mind. In bali, I think you have more opportunities to let 'er rip with the 250 than living in/around jakarta-bogor

I live in Bali and have a couple of very expensive scooters, and never worry, just knock yourself out mte get the 250 and just buy a bigger chain you know it makes sense.

I cant even understand why you would even consider the 150cc if you have the cash for the 250 ???

Thats why i have show bikes for posing and a "daily rider" for the super market trips.
Keep the 250 for "sunday best" and then get a cheap and cheerful "daily rider".
Or like i said originally just buy the biggest chain and padlock you can get most theives are oportunistic and wont bother if your bike is well secured.

More chance of the 150cc getting stolen then the 250 , as not too many 250 cc around and most are owned by bules . Not a good market out there for a thief trying to get rid of klx250 parts, very rarely are bikes like that stolen in bali anyway . Like scooter said , buy a big assed chain and padlock if your paranoid . She"ll Be right

just a guess , but I think its been sold as that add had been withdrawn from the bali advertiser 2 weeks ago , when the add was in the edition before .
It was for a 2010 model ..., bloody good bike , I went to husqvarna shop to check out their bikes , and im still drooling (and dreaming )

dtracker is a good bike but the klx250 has a very high riding position that will deter any thief :)

knobbys are not recomended for wet roads, you can get a 50/50 , or 75/25 ratio mix of road/off road to help ...,
like this knobby =off road , smooth slicks = road , check out motorcycle tyre manufactures websites to get an idea of the tyre ranges they provide , then decide which type best serves your needs ( then make sure you can then get them here in indo also as tyre selection here is limited .

... and kawasaki shops = thats it

Just insure it and get a good lock or two. Disk locks are often more of a bugger to get off than chains, you can get disc locks with very niceand noisy alarms from ace hardware now for aroun 250-300ribu. Worhtthe investmentif you've got a more expensive bike.
