Need accompany in traditional wedding reception.

Hi..Im Eka, Indonesian and newbie here. I have fiance (Joe, US citizen) who lives in Alaska. We will marry in this coming September. My visa and all paperworks are ready. Joe has no friends in Jakarta, he will come to marry me and bring only his daughter. We are going to have traditional (minangkabau) wedding reception in Jakarta. Since he is alone here, I wonder if any of US citizen here..want to accompany him while the party held. He dont have mom and dad to stand on the pelaminan (stage for pengantin/ groom&bride). All of them are going to wear minang traditional clothes and assume as Joe's family :D So, if you interested to help that would be special honor for us. Thanks

To wear a suit or batik would be a maybe for me, but not traditional dress.
