For Sale by Owner - Wife’s Car (i.e. only goes to Malls :mmph:)

BMW 528i Tiptronic, Year 2000, 105,500km, Metallic Blue, Grey Leather interior. Full Factory Pack i.e. all electronic options with CD Changer etc too many to list. Almost new STNK (April) 3 years.

Mechanically excellent condition with good service history, excellent original body bar a couple of Toll Road gravel chips and “secure parking” nicks. Simply a beautiful car that has been professionally driven and well cared for – genuine reluctant sale as we now need a bigger boot (trunk) for an extra stroller :faint2:

Price: 140 Jt negotiable. Location: Jakarta Selatan (Pondok Indah near PIM2). Tyre kicking/test drive welcome for those seriously interested, but by prior appointment only please.

Sorry Folks - still unable to upload Jpeg's - am I doing something wrong here? Using the "Manage Attachments" box in the Post New Thread and have also tried the Image Icon above input box - no joy. HELP !

Any idea why the 5 series (E39) is generally cheaper than the 3 series (E46) for the same production year?

Hi mrjingles, I've not tried uploading photos on the forum hosting but you may have a size problem in that they are too big, perhaps.

You could try uploading them to a photo hosting site such as photobucket and pasting the relevent "url" in they give you.

If you can't get that to work you can mail me the photos and I'll try to put them on the thread for you.

Leyton thank you very much - very considerate and I appreciate it, but after tearing my hair out all afternoon primary suspect is a Windows7 issue, for forum users who like me have "local"connections have kept images down to 120Kb max, but no go. Still looking into it and it's about to ruin my Sunday! But thanks anyway.

Well said Atlantis - Like you I was a recipient of the "broadcast", and don't know how but my wife has also been recieving constant text messages from the source. Forums are by definition not spam havens.

By the way - anybody want to buy a BMW !!!!!
