New Years Eve with kids???

What do people do here, with children on New Years Eve? It seems that all the events are cocktail parties, or live music. We are having visitors from Sweden with 3 sons, plus my toddler, and we really want to celebrate with them. Most of our friends are going away, so we don't know of any parties. I am just wondering what other families do. Thanks!

Have a private party with close friends who have a house with a large yard, pool and enough beds/bedrooms to let the kids sleep whn they get tired.....or lock'em in a bathroom with food and a TV, and no, I don't have kids.

A good answer there Adder. That is what we plan this year. BBQ at the house for friends and family. No huge back yard, but a quiet neighborhood so can spill out into the street.
