I certainly heard a lot from expats in Jakarta that Indonesia filled with business opportunities. Most of them who's stayed at least 6 months in Indonesia, either for works or personal matters, saying that compare to other developing countries like Thailand and Vietnam, Indonesia has the most potential.
I AGREE WITH THEM.
I am Indonesian, been away from this country for too long. I provide office solution for a living, and the company that I work for is pretty much established within Asia Pacific. My company decided to relocate me to Jakarta for 6 months, today is my 3rd week in Jakarta, and I can see a lot of business potentials in Indonesia. For a start, I have received more than 100 inquiries from entrepreneurs to use my services (DON'T GET ME WRONG, I AM NOT TRYING TO SELL HERE, JUST SHARING), and this number of inquiry is the second highest number we get after Singapore.
YET AGAIN, A lot of people discourage to invest in Indonesia due to corruption and bureaucracy.
what do you think will be a good way to show foreigner that Indonesia is GOOD FOR BUSINESS?
any ideas?
